CANCELLATION POLICIES:
Effective: May 1, 2024
You can cancel your class reservation at no cost up to 12 hours before the class begins, and your class credit will be returned to you.
Cancellations made after this period will result in the following charges:
For class packs and drop-ins, if you late-cancel (or do not show up), one class will be deducted from your remaining classes.
For a monthly unlimited membership, if you late-cancel, a $25 fee will be applied; if you don’t show up and don’t late cancel, you will be charged the price of a single class ($44).
For private sessions, we enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy. Canceling a private session within this window, or not showing up, will result in a charge for that session.
You cannot switch classes within the 12-hour cancellation window. All sales are final, and classes are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
To cancel a reservation, please log into the BASI Pilates Marina Del Rey App, navigate to Bookings, choose a reservation, and click Cancel. If you encounter any issues or have questions, please email us at info@basipilatesmarina.com or call the studio directly: (213) 894-9601
In case of last-minute instructor illness or emergency, we will make every attempt to find a replacement instructor or notify you of class cancellation. If any class is canceled at the last minute, you will not be charged for that class.
The BASI Pilates has the right to cancel, or combine with another class time, any class with 2 or fewer clients enrolled. You will be given adequate notification (at least 24 hours in advance) via email, phone call or text message if this occurs.
Prices, classes and instructors are subject to change without notice. Please check our website or the member app for the most current schedule.
PURCHASE POLICIES:
Advanced payment is required to sign up for classes. Class reservations and appointments can be made online, at the studio or by phone.
One month unlimited membership credits expire 30 days from the date of initiation or renewal.
5 class pack expires 2 months from the date of purchase.
10 class pack expires 4 months from the date of purchase.
20 class pack expires 6 months from the date of purchase.
HOLDS:
Two membership holds are allowed per calendar year.
The hold must be a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months in length.
Payment will not be prorated for any hold shorter than 1 month in length.
TERMINATIONS
Membership can be canceled any time after the 3 month requirement with written notice 30 days prior to the next billing date. If 30 days notice is not given before the next billing date, the next payment will process and cancellation will be effective the following month.
We do not offer refunds and instead offer account credit.
STUDIO POLICIES:
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for your first class.
Regardless of arrival time, Group Classes and Private Sessions will end at the scheduled time.
Prior to any training session, a Waiver of Liability must be completely filled out and signed via PushPress app.
Please make your instructor aware of any injuries and/or pregnancy.
While Pilates is safe throughout pregnancy and postpartum, please listen to your body. Wait at least 6 weeks after giving birth or until your doctor has given you the ok to join classes.
For safety and cleanliness Grip Socks are required in ALL classes and may be purchased at the studio if needed.
Please arrive on time for your scheduled class. If you are more than 5 minutes late, your spot may be given away to any walk-ins or waitlisted clients. If you are 10+ minutes late, you may not be allowed to join class.
We kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone before classes begin, to avoid interruptions to you and others during their sessions. We understand emergencies can occur, if you need to keep your cell phone on for any reason, please notify your instructor prior to class starting.
Please refrain from wearing strong scents or perfumes to class.
No children are allowed in the studio unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
